The Tainted Hearts series revolves around one single plot. I love how the author explored the fears and traumatic pasts and how these characters overcame it. The books encompass different aspects like friendship, abuse and betrayals too. The entire Ivanshov family will pull at your heartstrings with their own heartbreaking past. Not just the protagonists, Lylah created some incredible multi-faceted supporting characters as well. Not to mention all the blood and gore, this series is definitely not for the faint hearts. I was hypnotized by the lush love story set amidst the dark and gritty Mafia World.
